About Agnieszka
Agnieszka Rylik was born on January 21, 1974 in Kołobrzeg. She began her career in professional kick-boxing at the age of 15.  The term – ‘weaker sex’ didn’t reflect  her personality and shortly Aga  has proved herself to be a good fighter in this traditionally `man's world' of boxing. She has achieved everything there is to achieve in professional and amateur kick-boxing, including a world championship.

Many successful kick-boxing fights had led her in 2000 to debut in professional boxing. Her career had developed as well as in the kicking styles. Her first World Championship Belt in junior welterweight category of WIBF she won in her fourth fight. She soon collected another title, this time WIBO. Agnieszka lost only once in professional boxing career, her dynamic and at the same time spectacular style gave her such ring nicknames as “Lady Tyson” or “Tyson in a skirt”. She last appeared on professional ground in 2005 and since then due to recent serious knees injuries has never fought again.

Although she hasn’t appeared on ring for few years, she is still a very  popular and well-liked person. In addition to her boxing career, Rylik has branched out into the world of show-business as well. She become more famous after she took part in popular reality television series broadcast on TVN - “ Dancing with the stars”. Moreover, she used to comment on world boxing championships on TVN channel  and even took part in TVN Turbo’s as fencing teacher together with Polish Boxer Albert Sosonowski. Nowadays she is a permanent presenter and journalist in one of the Polish morning show - “Dzień dobryTVN”

Nevertheless her new passion is a professional poker game. She become interested after participating in TVN’s reportage where she met Mike Sexton, one of the world’s most experienced poker player. Soon her first performance was to be offered by The Party Poker. After accepting proposal she debuted in Cardiff in October winning straight ahead. Qualified to semifinal she beat regular Dave Ulliot. Having competing since then, given the fact Agnieszka has been gaining precious experience we can safely assume that she is the best female polish poker player nowadays.

In her private life, Rylik is living in Warsaw, has just graduated from Political Studies with science-fiction movies and books as a hobby. She enjoys relaxing listening to soul music and strolling with Lara, Staffordshire bull terrier.
